General Questions

Who do you typically work with?

We work primarily with small to mid-sized businesses, with a strong focus on businesses that need QuickBooks assistance and construction companies pursuing or managing government contracts. That said, our services are flexible and designed to meet businesses where they are.

Do you offer one-time services or ongoing support?

Both. Some clients need one-time help, such as QuickBooks cleanup, setup, or contract preparation. While others prefer ongoing monthly or quarterly support. We’ll help you choose the option that fits your needs.

Are you a CPA or a tax preparation firm?

No. We provide bookkeeping, accounting cleanup, QuickBooks support, and consulting services. We do not offer tax filing or legal services, but we’re happy to collaborate with your CPA or tax professional when needed.

QuickBooks & Accounting Questions

What kind of QuickBooks help do you offer?

We provide hands-on QuickBooks Online assistance, including setup, cleanup, migration from QuickBooks Desktop, payroll setup, and ongoing monthly or quarterly support.

Can you help if my QuickBooks is messy or behind?

Yes. Accounting cleanup is one of our core services. We help correct errors, organize records, and restore confidence in your financial data, without judgment.

Do you work with QuickBooks Online only?

Yes. Our services are focused on QuickBooks Online, including migrations from QuickBooks Desktop.

How do I know if I need accounting cleanup or ongoing bookkeeping?

If your books feel confusing, inconsistent, or hard to trust, cleanup is usually the first step. From there, we can recommend whether ongoing support makes sense for your business.

Contract Management & Construction Questions

How can I begin doing business with the city or government agencies?

The first step is registering your business as a vendor to become visible to government agencies, businesses, and consumers that may need your services or products.

What are Good Faith Efforts?

Good Faith Efforts are specific actions taken to ensure inclusion of minority-certified suppliers and service providers in meeting participation goals on government-issued contracts.

How long does it take to become minority certified?

The minority certification process can be detailed. Once all documentation is submitted, it may take up to 90 days to receive certification—assuming no errors or missing information.

What is pre-bid, pre-award, and post-award support?

  • Pre-bid consulting helps prepare your business to pursue contracts

  • Pre-award coaching supports you through the application and award process

  • Post-award management focuses on compliance, documentation, and implementation after a contract is awarded

We support construction businesses at any of these stages.

Business Consulting Questions

What is a Business Review?

A Business Review provides objective guidance to help you evaluate your current systems, identify gaps, and create a clearer strategy for growth or improvement.

Does my business need an internal audit?

An internal review can help identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement—often preventing costly mistakes before they happen.

How can I prepare to receive government funding?

Preparation starts with having the right people, systems, and financial data in place. We help businesses build the structure needed to pursue and manage government funding opportunities.

Who We Help

We work with small to mid-sized businesses across many industries, but we primarily support two groups: those who need expert QuickBooks help, and construction companies navigating government contracts and compliance-driven accounting requirements. Our focus is on creating systems that are accurate, reliable, and built to support long-term growth.
